Fresh X-Large Long Island Oysters (6) review by Justin
Absolutely wonderful oyster dish. I actually had seven large plump, juicy fried oysters on my plate. They were fried to perfection coated in a nice batter. The oysters had that unmistakable briney taste from the first bite to the last. Each oyster was delicious. I asked to substitute rice for the fries and Mike's graciously complied. I love their rice for taste and consistency, it is superb. I never thought I would get filled up on oysters and rice , but I did, I was stuffed. Great portion sizes. With all the other great menu options at Mike's, I don't know how many oysters they sell in the summer but I can tell you they are a great option. I highly recommend them to people looking for shellfish for dinner.

Red or White Clam Chowder review by Justin
The White Clam Chowder is the best chowder I have ever had anywhere. The portion is very generous. The consistency was dense, creamy, consistent and luxurious from the first spoonful to the last. The ingredients were large and delicious, great clams and vegetables. Somehow the temperature of the dish remained constant from beginning to the end. I highly recommend it and will definitely have it again at my next visit.
